This complex Maple Cream Ale uses local maple syrup and sap water from Blossom Hill a few miles up the road in Victor, WV. Loaded with lots of grain, including two row pale malt, flaked corn, and rolled oats. Shagbark Hickory Bark added to create a depth of woodsy, sweet maple notes. All the regular water in this ale is replaced with 100% maple sap water. This Ale is made to highlight the Hickory Horned Devil Caterpillar, a regionally endangered species in Appalachia.
